DELIVERING HIGH-QUALITY HEALTH
SERVICES SINCE 2010

CHS is about solving problems in public health; we identify health needs and offer evidence-informed solutions. Below are key highlights of the 10 year journey.

7,165,401 HIV TESTS DONE

CHS is currently supporting the Implementation and Expansion of High Quality, Sustainable and Comprehensive HIV Prevention, Care and Treatment Programs across seven counties in Kenya Central Region, Western, and Lower Eastern.

103,138 PEOPLE LIVING WITH HIV IDENTIFIED

During the second strategic period, CHS expanded into new program areas: Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision (VMMC), Key Populations for HIV and Differentiated Service Delivery (DSD).

88,578 PEOPLE PROVIDED WITH ART TREATMENT

CHS is currently taking care of approximately 16% (177,626) of People Living with HIV (PLHIV) in Kenya

649,688 DRUG SENSITIVE INDIVIDUALS DIAGNOSED AND INITIATED ON TREATMENT

In collaboration with the National Tuberculosis, Leprosy and Lung Disease Program (NTLD-P), CHS seeks to reduce  the incidence, and TB related morbidity, and mortality in line with the 90-95-0 targets to End the TB epidemic in Kenya.

4,383 DRUG RESISTANT TB PATIENTS DIAGNOSED

During the second strategic period, CHS scaled up the shorter-term regimen (STR) for eligible Drug-Resistant TB patients by conducting sensitizations in the 10 high burden DR TB counties that are responsible for 50% of the country’s DR TB burden.

4-189 GENE-XPERT MACHINES

In collaboration with the National TB Program CHS has improved access to TB diagnosis through the scale-up of GeneXpert diagnostics from four to 189 machines.

OUR VISION FOR THE NEXT DECADE

Our third strategic transition comes in the wake of a changing operating environment which includes: the COVID 19 pandemic, scale-up of technology (5G, blockchain and artificial intelligence) and the dynamic workplace of the future.  CHS is thus working towards incorporating various innovative approaches and widening our scope in order to reach even more Kenyans with quality health care services

Our Drive

Our drive lies in our vision ” A world of healthy families through universal access to health interventions and services.” We want to create a world where high quality health services are affordable and accessible by all.

Our drive lies in the smiles and health of every child, every woman, every man and every family we reach with our services. We are because you are.

The right to health is one of a set of internationally agreed human rights standards and is inseparable or ‘indivisible’ from all other rights.
