Through the Tegemeza Plus project, CHS strengthened health systems in Central Kenya, having worked collaboratively with the county governments to ensure the sustainability and continuity of the work they have been doing.<br /><br />Here is a recap of the dissemination meeting

2017 - 2022, CHS through Tegemeza Plus Project has been transforming lives sustainably through healthcare in Central Kenya with funding from the U.S President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This documentary highlights some of this work in transforming the lives of the beneficiaries by implementing and expanding quality , sustainable and comprehensive HIV prevention, treatment and care services.

With support from PEPFAR through CDC, CHS worked collaboratively with the county governments in 87 health facilities in Central Kenya to implement and expand sustainable, high-quality HIV services, specifically comprehensive HIV prevention, care and treatment with improved yield and retention of patients on treatment

CHS seeks to optimise the delivery and use of health interventions to communities by creating innovative solutions that increase efficiency and promote access to quality health services.

Communities are the heart of HIV epidemic control; they play a crucial role in the fight against HIV/AIDS, including encouraging the uptake of HIV prevention, treatment and care services.
