Principles of STD/HIV Research Training Course

CHS in collaboration with the Department of Global Health at the University of Washington brings you a three month training course: Principles of STD/HIV Research running from September 25, 2014 to December 5, 2014.

Principles of STD/HIV Research offers an intensive overview of the skills needed to pursue a career in the field of STD and/or HIV research. The course is available online to groups of eligible students worldwide.

Principles of STD/HIV Research is a graduate-level course in the Department of Global Health at the University of Washington. Students who take the course online and satisfy the course requirements will receive a certificate of course completion.

Eligibility

The course is appropriate for individuals interested in pursuing research activities in the field of STD and HIV. More details on the course eligibility criteria are available here.

Training Site and Registration

The course will be offered at the CHS Nairobi Office and interested participants are requested to submit their applications through the University of Washington’s Department of Global Health website via the link below and select Centre for Health Solutions – Kenya as the training site. The application deadline is Thursday, July 31, 2014. All participants will need to submit an application to be accepted into the course.
