Posted on November 24, 2014

CHS Annual Stakeholders Meeting 2014

CHS held its 3rd Annual Stakeholders Meeting (ASM) from Thursday, November 20, 2014 to Friday, November 21, 2014 in Nyeri under the theme, ‘Strategic Information for Health Systems Strengthening.’

The forum brought together 114 particpants drawn from five counties in Central Kenya, that are supported by the CHS Tegemeza project (with funding from PEPFAR through CDC), namely Nyeri, Kiambu, Muranga, Nyandarua and Laikipia. Health development partners working in Central as well as CHS staff were also present.

Discussions at the meeting ranged from the role of counties in data quality assurance, use of data to improve service delivery and for decision making; as well as updates on the revised National ART Guidelines and a session on health care and law.
