In support of the delivery of health services in Siaya County, CHS handed over assets worth over Kshs 16 million at a ceremony graced by Siaya County Governor Cornel Rasanga.
The assets that included electric centrifuges, paediatric and adult weighing scales, examination lamps for maternity use, computers among others, will be distributed across CHS-supported health facilities in the county. At the same event, H.E. Governor Rasanga flagged off CHS vehicles to support movement of CHS Program staff in the delivery of essential health services across the county.
CHS is working in partnership with the Siaya County Department of Health to continue and expand HIV service delivery, through support to 119 health facilities in comprehensive HIV prevention, care and treatment, as well as evidence-guided practical strategies to ensure quality and improve yield and retention.
This support has been made possible with funding from the US President’s Emergency Fund for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) through the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and implemented by CHS through the SHINDA Project.
