This year’s The Union World Conference on Lung Health being held in Paris, France, November 14-18 offers a platform to disseminate and discuss pertinent information on Lung health.
The conference theme; Transforming Evidence to Practice calls for the strive to go behold generating new evidence from research projects and publishing them to converting the research into practice for evidence-based health policies and decisions.
With support from the United States Agency for international Development (USAID), CHS through its TB ARC II activity has been working collaboratively with Kenya’s National TB Program to reduce the incidence and number of deaths due to tuberculosis in Kenya by:
- Increasing timely use of quality TB, TB/HIV & DR-TB treatment
- Enhancing participatory approaches to improve TB service uptake
- Enhancing the efficiency & sustainability of the National TB Program
In this year’s The Union Conference, CHS, National TB Program and County speakers will share best practices and lessons learned on improving TB services in Kenya through various interventions implemented with support from USAID TB ARC II activity.
